At very competitive rates, The Joy can be rented as a one bedroom or as a two bedroom home. If just one couple/1 bedroom is booked, the 2nd bedroom will simply be locked during your stay. The Joy is in walking distance to well known Captain Oliver's Marina and only a couple of minutes' drive from popular Dawn Beach on Dutch St. Maarten. Secluded Coralita Beach and restaurants, bars and grocery stores are in walking distance from The Joy.

Booked together, these 3 properties make a group vacation affordable for budget oriented parties with or without children of 8-12 people.

This comfortable, spacious and fully air-conditioned 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse offers a relaxed casual Caribbean lifestyle and lots of comfort, combined with a refined French touch.

The Joy has a 2-level / 2-floor design, and the layout of the duplex is ideal for two couples or for a family as it offers a great separation between the bedrooms and the common living areas.

The main floor (ground level) consists of the living / dining room, the kitchen, one en-suite bedroom. The living room opens to the terrace including a covered dining area and a BBQ grill.

The Master bedroom with en-suite bath is upstairs and offers a 2nd private terrace overlooking the ocean (Coralita Bay).

The well known landmark of Oyster Pond, Captain Oliver's Restaurant and Marina, is a short walk away and offers a few restaurants and local bars (most popular: "The Dinghy Dock" hang-out bar), grocery stores, marina facilities, boat & sailing charters and boat excursions. The ferry for a day trip to famous St. Barth's also leaves from Captain Oliver's.

Oyster Pond is the right spot for people who look for a quiet, picturesque neighborhood between the ocean and the Marina of Oyster Pond, right at the open border between French and Dutch side. The area is well maintained and dominated by villas and private homes scattered across the gentle hills and slopes. This area of the east coast of the island is off mainstream. It ensures all the serenity you may wish to experience and is still so close to awesome beaches, island attractions, restaurants, and all your daily needs. More action and night life can be reached by driving to the Westin casino (3 min. drive), the Orient Bay area (10 min.) or Philipsburg (10 min.).
